Costa Rica 2

Yes we did some snorkeling! The province of Guanacaste seems to be very popular with visitors from the northern latitudes.Beaches are beautiful ,the mountains are not far and there are several National Parks.
Many of the small villages are undergoing rapid transition to serve the the many visitors. I doubt that in the long run it will be good for the region. Tamarindo ,once a sleepy village, is now a thriving hub with a well known nightlife. We did not experience that but were quite put off by the many shops all selling the same souvenirs or beach wear. The beach is still wonderful with a lot of small restaurants.

Mobile band in Tamarindo...they and we had fun.

Perfect evening after a perfect day.

Picture perfect sunset.

  1. I really like the repetitive nature of the snorkel mask shot
