Midweek Portrait Gallery

The Egyptian Museum in Berlin is a a gem. The  collection has artefacts dating from 4000BC to the time when the Romans started to rule.
This unfinished head here  might be  of the Queen Nefertiti or of one of her daughters.

This lady with the slightly arrogant expression is Queen Teje ( around 1355 BC).The crown on her head is a Double -Feather-Crown. Originally made out  of silver and decorated  with golden snakes and embroidered with pearls of which some are still to be seen at the back of the head.

Pure perfection!
