Weekend in Black and White

Early morning in a small village in India . Tried to take these pictures with a hidden camera hence the funny perspective. Sometimes it is just not right to stick a camera into peoples face….

  1. Really like the perspective of the first one! Shooting from the hip is really hard, but I think you did a GREAT job! I'm the same way...I'm not one to just put my camera in their face...for me there's got to be a little report, if even just a smile and a point at my camera! Well done!

  2. I, too, wonder how people feel when I'm taking their photo. Everyone looks sleepy, neat early shot.

  8. Great sequence of shots. Very moving photography and I appreciate your being careful of people's feelings. I have trouble photographing people because I don't want to infringe on their privacy.

  14. Wonderful documentary shots Karen... from the scenes in these shots, it really seems you go to the most remote and/or desolate of places. Your keen curiosity and travel lust is evident. I do love the from-the-hip perspective here!
