Household chores in a village on the Inle Lake in Myanmar.
Streets are made of water, transportation is done by small boats which are being used for other things as well, washing the dishes or clothes etc.
Local fisherman practice a very unique rowing style. Standing at the stern they wrap one leg around the oar. They adopted this style to have a better view over the floating plants and reeds.
Women row in the traditional style, using their hands to hold the oar.
