Macro Monday


I am fascinated by snakes and to my utter delight we found this beauty sleeping under a bush. Under the midday sun there was not a lot of movement and it was (quite) safe to touch her. A Madagascan Tree Boa is not poisonous! Good to know!

    Photos are about as close to snakes as I would prefer to be. I must admit, the dark pattern on this one is beautiful.

    This snake is very beautiful. I rather didn´t want to go so close to it, but my daughter would touched her too.

    Great pictures!! I would never dare to go as close to a snake even though I knew that it was not poisonous.
