Black and White Wednesdays

The rain came late this year in Kenya. The riverbed and its beautifully shaped rocks were well exposed. Wild animals and farmers with their cattle had a hard time finding water.

It looks more like a sculpture then an ordinary (?) rock.

A couple of days after we left the rain set in and the river started to flow again.

  3. If there can be an upside to a drought it is that it exposes some beautiful natural architecture / design. I am glad to read that the rain did come.

  11. That rock does look like a sculpture. The b w really brings out the starkness of the desert river bed.
