Our World on Tuesday

For collaring an elephant you need a helicopter and a vet with excellent aiming skills.

Success! Now we have about 20 minutes before this giant animal wakes up again.

Attaching the collar is no mean feat.
The collar is used to provide continuous monitoring of the elephant's movements.

A little stick keeps the sedated elephant's trunk open for breathing.

Time to take off before the elephant and his friends are going after us.
