Black and White Wednesdays

"The darkest thing about Africa has always been our ignorance of it."
George Kimble

Imagine a landscape which stretches forever, a sky without airplane trails,
maybe a herd of buffallos passing by, some hills in the far distance and just the sound of nature.  That is Africa.

  4. This is lovely. I know Africa just gets to you, my husband and my daughter who have lived in West Africa would agree with your quote for sure.

  7. Beautiful! I love the tree in the image. I see a sassy, confident lady standing with one arm in front of her, one hand on her hip, probably with one eyebrow raised, saying, "Stop."

  13. It looks like a female form to me. She's holding her arms out ready to embrace someone running to her.
What a beautiful shot! And perfect in black and white.
