The song by Pink Floyd almost became a hymn
during the downfall of the Berlin wall
25 years ago.

"We don`t need no thought control.."

Writings like that on the wall would not have been possible
in the GDR (Eastern Germany).

"We don`t need no education..."

Younger generations are now being educated about the history
and life in an oppressive regime.

"...just another brick in the wall "

This line of bricks across the street symbolises the wall which for
28 years divided families and friend and a whole nation.
