To go to Africa is an adventure, to go more than once to Africa is a privilege. I am off again to see parts of Africa I have not visited before.
The question is, are we happy to suppose that our grandchildren may never be able to see an elephant except in a picture book?

ReplyDeleteTo see these beautiful animals up close and personal must be the thrill of a lifetime. It is a sad thought that some of them might not be here for future generations. You have captured them so well...you have brought them to life for me.

ReplyDeleteIt's beyond dreadful to think these amazing creatures will not be here for future generations!! Thank you so much for sharing your discoveries with us and continuing to share what is so important in this part of the world!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, but it's India for me, most likely next April. Love that place. I really like this photo, but of course am saddened by what D. Attenborough said.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous animals, all of them.
The beauty and majesty of animals in freedom is unmatched and is a real shame that other human beings kill them. Magnificent B&W images!
ReplyDeleteIch warte schon auf die nächste Runde sagenhafter Bilder ...
ReplyDeleteLiebe Grüße

Enjoy your visit, you lucky thing! Unlike our next generation who even if they go to Africa will as you (or David Attenborough) says, not see some of the animals in today's world. When will the world learn?
