World on Tuesday

Mandalay and the Kuthodaw Pagoda which contains the world`s largest book. Each of the 729 smaller pagodas contain a marble slab with inscriptions on both side.

A magnificent sight , especially at sunset.

Souvenirs anyone?

  3. I am so loving that last one and especially in b&w! Wasn't the world's largest book incredible? I think that was one of my favorites! More!!

Oder was meinst du, Karen? ;-)

  6. I’d give my right arm to visit this place. SOSOSOSO beautiful. I wanna see the largest book. I saw the Book of Kells in Dublin, but not this one. Your captures of this peaceful, beautiful place are lovely. Nope...the snow and icy weather are still upon us. My poor little flowers. UGH!
