The first one could be just walked away from every important photo book of the last hundred years in black and white. Very good composition and details. Love it.
Ha - those poor chickens look almost comical and/or enough to turn me vegetarian with their out stretched arms - just had a fun catch up of your recent posts - sorry it's been too long, but you know life gets in the way! Wren x
You are certainly the consummate traveler :) Such storied photos... I love how the shopkeeper continued reading in your first shot and smiled in your second. I wonder, do you ask to take their photos before snapping?
Thanks a lot Catherine, I always try to make eye contact and ask permission if possible. In this case I just took the photo because otherwise the reading woman would not have been so relaxed. I normally show them the pictures afterwards. The smiling lady gave her ok!
Ahh ok, thanks Karen. I'd love to take more candid street life shots, but am still too shy most of the time. Great idea to show the photos afterwards,... will do that next time :)
I like the humour of the top shot with the chickens.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots of the store and I love the smile on the lady in the second shot. I also like the moment of repose you captured in the first one.
