All these dogs were abandoned on the streets in Greece. Through a German organisation we (among others ) adopted one of their dogs. Hans ( bottom left) was due to arrive in Frankfurt on Wednesday...we waited in vain. Due to the change of the government in Greece, new regulations and statements have been put in place making it impossible for these dogs to leave the country. These dogs are not being trafficked or hurt, they have been looked after and been taking care of- without this care, many of them would be dead by now. Sorry to say, but the Greek government has other, and more urgent issues, rather than exercising their power over charities trying to help animals they otherwise completely disregard.

What is their rational ... it makes no sense to keep the dogs or any animals from getting help. I will sign the pitition ... keep us posted if you can. Thank you for keeping us informed.
