Weekend in Black and White


A week with lions...

How lucky we were to observe mating lions during our last trip to Africa.



Lions mate approximately every 15 minutes for up to 5 days in a row.
The female ovaries need the stimulus of mating before eggs can be released - the more mating the higher the chances of a pregnancy.


Tiring business.

    Großartige Fotos! Das erste ist absolut beeindruckend! Ich würd mich da allerdings um mein Ohr fürchten, die Löwendame nimmt das alles eher gelassen ...
