6 a.m. in Mumbai- Our World on Tuesday

We went to see the flower market at 6 (!) a.m ....beautiful colours and wonderful scents.

Mostly men are selling or buying. Many of the flowers will be used as garlands, to be hung up in the temples.

He liked us and gave us a handful of little white blossoms with the most wonderful smell.

Outside the market hall are people from the countryside offering their goods. Some of them travel for a couple of hours to reach the city-  and it is still only around 6 a.m. in the morning.

We attract a lot of curious glances.
