Our World on Tuesday

Travelling to Venice with my mother.

My mother at the age of 80 is a real trooper, nothing was too far, no steps too high, no vaporetto too crowded. I had a hard time keeping up with her. After visiting all the "important"
buildings, churches and bridges we were delighted to find the Iranian pavilion for the Biennale, admiring the art of hanging the washing over the canals and much more.

  7. What a rich array of life and scenes in these photos! The garments hung on the line.. The man in his "photographer" stance... makes me smile. And that scene, just after the mouthwatering treats, the arch of the bridge creating a circle with its reflection - took my breath away! Gorgeous.
Happy that you and your mother enjoyed this time together!
