Travelling to Venice with my mother.
My mother at the age of 80 is a real trooper, nothing was too far, no steps too high, no vaporetto too crowded. I had a hard time keeping up with her. After visiting all the "important"
buildings, churches and bridges we were delighted to find the Iranian pavilion for the Biennale, admiring the art of hanging the washing over the canals and much more.

Hello, beautiful collection of images from Venice. What a great trip for you and your Mom! Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteI like this post! Great photos!
ReplyDeleteI adore Venice!! Your shots are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOh...enjoy every moment with your mother...mine was able to go, go, go at that age too...but these last few years...not so much. Wonderful memories!!
ReplyDeleteNice serie! Venice is beautiful. I also like the reflection of the bridge in the canal in the 6th photo.
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful that your mom can still travel ! Venice is beautiful, I have been there several times !
ReplyDeleteYour photos sum up the beauty that is Venice.
ReplyDeleteWhat a rich array of life and scenes in these photos! The garments hung on the line.. The man in his "photographer" stance... makes me smile. And that scene, just after the mouthwatering treats, the arch of the bridge creating a circle with its reflection - took my breath away! Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHappy that you and your mother enjoyed this time together!
These photos make me smile Karen. I hope I can capture Venice 1/2 as good...WHENEVER I go!

Magnificent series and the range of situations is superb. Love the strange poses of people taking pictures searching for the right angle!
