Macro Monday

The mostly blue tiles I saw in Portugal are so intriguing that I have to make another post.
This picture was on the side of a beautiful house.

 This decoration adorned the roof.

Just a detail. The shading and the lines are so amazing.

Here is the house in all its glory. Wouldn't it be fun to have desk in the little tower overlooking the courtyard towards the gate with the little bell?

  3. Beautiful. That's what amazes me in these old buildings and homes. They sure don't make like that anymore which is so sad...and oh yes, that little tower could such a little get away! Thanks for taking me back to Portugal!

  11. Hi Karen. I'm visiting you from Smiling Sally's Blue Monday meme. It's my first visit to your page and I really like the title, Chai and Chardonnay.

I love this entry of yours for Sally's meme. Thank you for sharing these lovely blue details of the house. And that tiles with the Assumption of Mary is breathtaking.
