Great shot! I relate to it - none of our 4 sons have ever been to a barber.. I do all their haircuts at home. (husband, too - though he likes his cut less often... the teenagers want a trim exactly once a month.) We use a wooden stool & a cape much like this. I just did one last night. :)
I love that no matter the circumstance, one always carries a sense of dignity. I recently saw a documentary that showed a homeless man in NYC who also got his haircut regularly (by another homeless woman), but it was enough for him to stand straighter and more confident afterwards. This shot tells so much (even about the barber). Just wonderful Karen.
