World on Tuesday

The last weekend I was at a wedding in Bath / England and apart from a beautiful celebration I had the chance to wander around the old town of Bath. Famous since the Roman`s discovered the hot springs.

    So many souvenirs of royalty (including Elvis ;) Love the beautiful stone architecture and covered bridge. What a lovely backdrop for a wedding!

    Beautiful photos of a beautiful city steeped in history. I haven't visited for years, but my next visit there will definitely include a soak in the thermal baths (the new ones not the Roman ones!)

    Ich kann gut verstehen, warum Bath so beliebt ist - es scheint wunderschön dort zu sein. Du hast die Zeit bestimmt genossen, nicht wahr?

    P. S.: Die dösigen Hortensien in meinem Garten stehen schon ein paar Jahre und haben nur im ersten Jahr geblüht. Vielleicht gefallen ihnen ganz einfach die Koniferen nicht als Nachbarn ...
    Im Herbst kommt ganz viel Lavendel da hin, da wollen wir doch mal sehen, wer hier der Chef ist ;-)

    Schön, mal wiedr ein paar Fotos aus Bath zu sehen. Jetzt im Sommer - und bei entsprechendem Wetter - sicherlich ein Traum!
