A couple of days ...

...in Budapest.

Looking at historic sites.

And not so historic sites!

Looking at splendid architecture of times long gone.

Lovely selection of piros paprika and garlic which together with the real spicy sausages are a real culinary treat.

View of Buda Castle hill.

A lot of traffic on the Danube. Riverboats stop here en route to the Black Sea.

But the best in Budapest is to visit my longest standing friends and to spend hours over lunch to catch up and sometimes lunch turns into dinner!

  16. What an amazing city! Splendid architecture, indeed. We just do not have architectural details like those in our much younger country.
Happy for you, spending time with your friend, too.
