The Weekend in Black and White

"It is not easy writing
someone a postcard.
The size and shape
of the card cut you
down to size..."
(Ron Padgett)

I have a weakness for old postcards,
especially if they are such interesting memorabilia like
the important looking men above.

This post is linked with Weekend in Black and White.

  3. Oh yes, I also like such old postcards. The black and white give them so much character!

  4. They look as if they have antique value. Such an intereting collection.

  5. I like that quote a lot. I always run out of space on postcards. We have boxes full of old postcards. I suppose one day we ought to do something about them.

  7. Ein schöner Post, die Menschen auf alten Postkarten sehen meist sehr ernst in die Welt (oder Kamera).

  8. I love postcards, old and new! I once had a project to make a collage with all the cards I had received over my lifetime. But that was too many moves ago...
