Waking up to a new morning in an unknown city is full of promises.
The noise in the small streets, the smell of freshly baked bread
The view from the window
Damascus Gate in Jerusalem. A city which is so important for so many religions.
We did not stay long but headed off to start our hiking tour on the Westbank.
We had to take many de-tours due to road blocks or like here to demonstrations and burning of tyres.
I guess I have never ever before seen so many car wrecks.
And then beautiful pastoral scenery.
Beautiful little towns where we spent the night.
To be continued...
Your brave, it's one place I would not go
ReplyDeleteFascinating tour - so much history and so much violence too.
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSafe travels!! You are a brave soul!
ReplyDeleteAmazing - looking forward to seeing all the sites that many of us will never get to see in person. Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right CC, where ever you are, at home or traveling, early morning is the most wonderful time of the day.. who knows how the day will unfold ☺ For most of us Jerusalem holds much mystery, so I'm loving your images here, the light is gorgeous.. love both the rural and town scenes.
ReplyDeleteDa, so in Jerusalem???
