My daughter and her very best friend...always there for each other.
Not only do they share clothes and giggles but they are each others "somebody to lean on".
"Lean on me, when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
'Til I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on"
For E. & C.
I love this picture! Just perfect!
ReplyDeleteI think back on all my girlfriend relationships during those years and so wish I had photographs like this one. This will be cherished forever! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet! Perfect for this song!!
ReplyDeleteOh BFFs...nothing could be better!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great image. You've captured their love and the innocence of the age. May they be blessed to have a long friendship. My best and I have known each other since jr. high-and boast more than 30 years of "leaning on".
ReplyDeleteGreat pic, people need their friends.
ReplyDeleteChildhood friends are the best. I searched high and low for some pictures of my son and his very best friend for consideration for this week's song but in the end decided to go a different route.
ReplyDeletegreat shot.
oh boy, do I love this! My kids have had 'their person' over the years...some changing over time. But they each have two special, special friends that have wound their way through childhood into young adulthood...it's priceless.
ReplyDeleteAre they skipping? What a great shot, and one that will hold precious memories down the road for them. There is always that one special "lean on me" friend the holds a place in our hearts. Thanks for linking up with Song-ography.
ReplyDeleteI've never really had a "close" friend like that but always considered my mom to be my best friend. I think it's wonderful that your daughter has a special friend and this shot is so happy and filled with love.
ReplyDeleteLovely! Their colorful shorts and the movement in the picture makes it so appealing.
ReplyDeleteBlessed! Glad she has such a close friend. Good friends are rare.
ReplyDeleteI love this! One of my favorite songs, I play it on the piano all the time.
ReplyDeleteI've been seeing a handful of Songography posts in my feed this past week... excited to join along today!
Love this picture!
ReplyDeleteSuch a carefree, happy photo! Love how it's captured mid-skip?
