Song-ography: "Lean on me"- Bill Withers

My daughter and her very best friend...always there for each other.
Not only do they share clothes and giggles but they are each others "somebody to lean on".

"Lean on me, when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
'Til I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on"

For E. & C.

  5. What a great image. You've captured their love and the innocence of the age. May they be blessed to have a long friendship. My best and I have known each other since jr. high-and boast more than 30 years of "leaning on".

  7. Childhood friends are the best. I searched high and low for some pictures of my son and his very best friend for consideration for this week's song but in the end decided to go a different route.

    great shot.

  8. oh boy, do I love this! My kids have had 'their person' over the years...some changing over time. But they each have two special, special friends that have wound their way through childhood into young adulthood...it's priceless.

  10. I've never really had a "close" friend like that but always considered my mom to be my best friend. I think it's wonderful that your daughter has a special friend and this shot is so happy and filled with love.
